Turning a T3 into a T2

I finished add a new Tier 2 section to my website this week.

I had this page, Affordable Homeschooling, as a Tier 3 page under the Tier 2, Homeschooling Information. This week, I added it to the nav bar, making it a Tier 2, and put the following pages under it as Tier 3's:

Homeschooling Cost
Discount Homeschool Books
Used Homeschooling Books
Used Homeschool Curriculum
Free Homeschooling Curriculum
Free Homeschooling Resources
Homeschool Discounts
Virtual Schools

I also linked it to an existing, related Tier 3 page:

We're also trying out some new things with marketing and adsense. My husband set up some channels for adsense testing. We're also trying the Share This button, article distribution and forum announcements for marketing.

My new pages contain great content so I'm not at all shy about sharing them. I'm adding an announcement to my homeschool blog, and linking new pages to this blog is also part of our promotion strategy in the form of back links.

Only time will tell which of these efforts will pay off. In internet marketing, you have to be willing to experiment.
